Orders of $199 and up ship free in the lower 48. Under that, a box is priced by its weight and where it is going, at what the carrier charges us.

Which states get UPS Ground?
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, Wyoming. UPS reaches every major city in these states in one to two days, so the box goes by Ground. Every other state in the lower 48 goes by 2nd Day Air.

Box weight is the shipping weight of what is in your box; the cooler and ice packs are already priced in. Barbecue and pantry items ship in separate boxes, so an order with both pays each table's rate until it reaches $199. Your bag works out your box's rate by region before checkout.
- Do you ship barbecue nationwide?
- Yes. Smoked brisket, ribs, pork belly burnt ends, sausage, turkey breast and pork shoulder ship to every state from our pits in Arlington, Texas. Sauces, rubs, pistachios, the cookbook and merch ship too.
- When does my order ship?
- Cold food ships every Wednesday, so it never sits over a weekend. An order placed on a Wednesday goes out the following Wednesday, which gives the pit time to smoke it for your box rather than pull it off the counter. Sauces, rubs, pistachios, the cookbook and merch ship any weekday.
- How is the meat packed?
- Every cut is smoked, vacuum-sealed and packed cold with ice packs in an insulated box. It may thaw some in transit; that is normal. Refrigerate it as soon as it arrives.
- What does shipping cost?
- Orders of $199 and up ship free in the lower 48. Barbecue and cold food under that ships by box weight: $14 to $28 to Texas and 20 nearby states (UPS Ground, 1 to 2 days); $45 to $98 to the rest of the lower 48 (UPS 2nd Day Air, 2 days); $76 to $152 to Alaska and Hawaii (UPS 2nd Day Air, 2 days) on every order. Sauces, rubs, pistachios, the cookbook and merch under that ships by box weight: $9 to $29 anywhere in the US (USPS Ground Advantage, 2 to 5 days).
- How long does it keep?
- Brisket, turkey breast and pork shoulder keep refrigerated up to 5 days or frozen up to 3 months. Ribs, burnt ends and sausage keep refrigerated 3 to 4 days or frozen 2 to 3 months.
- Can you ship to a P.O. box, APO or FPO?
- Not cold food. The carriers we use for it cannot deliver to those addresses. Use a street address where someone can bring the box inside.
- How do I reheat it?
- Low and slow, the same way it was smoked. The reheat guide covers every cut, and a card comes in the box.
- What if it arrives damaged or warm?
- Email support@hurtadobbq.com within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we replace it or refund it. The full terms are in the refund policy.
